Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of KE Duplicate Bill (the "Service"), an independent consumer information and bill-retrieval resource for K-Electric customers in Karachi and the surrounding KE service territory. By using the Service you agree to be bound by every clause below; if you disagree with any provision, please stop using the Service immediately.

Acceptance

By using KE Duplicate Bill you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page for 30 days following the change so returning users have a fair chance to review them.

Service description

KE Duplicate Bill is an independent informational and bill-retrieval resource. It is not affiliated with K-Electric Limited. We do not generate, modify or store electricity bills.

The Service has two distinct functions: (1) a free duplicate-bill lookup that forwards a 13-digit account or reference number to K-Electric's official public infrastructure and renders the returned PDF in your browser, and (2) editorial guides that explain K-Electric tariffs, fixed charges, peak hours, complaints, net metering and other consumer-relevant topics in plain language. Neither function constitutes legal, financial, engineering or regulatory advice.

Permitted use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes — checking your own bill, your family's bill, your business's bill, or researching K-Electric billing for your own benefit. Reasonable journalistic, academic and consumer-advocacy use is also permitted with attribution.

Prohibited use

  • Scraping, mass-downloading or programmatically querying our bill-lookup endpoint. Use is rate-limited; abuse will result in IP-level blocking.
  • Looking up bills for accounts you do not own or are not authorised to access, in violation of Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.
  • Republishing our editorial content verbatim on other websites without written permission. Brief quotations with a clear link back are welcomed.
  • Using the Service to harass, defame or impersonate any K-Electric employee, NEPRA officer or other consumer.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, probe vulnerabilities in, or otherwise disrupt the Service or the K-Electric infrastructure it calls.

Accuracy

Editorial content is researched carefully but tariffs, FPA, taxes and KE policies change frequently. Always confirm exact figures against your current K-Electric bill.

NEPRA notifies new tariff determinations several times a year, and FPA changes monthly. While we update guides as quickly as we can verify a new notification against the official NEPRA gazette, there is always a short window where a number on the site is one cycle stale. The single source of truth for the amount you owe is the printed bill K-Electric issued for that cycle — never our guide pages.

Intellectual property

All editorial copy, illustrations and design on this site are © KE Duplicate Bill except where third- party sources are credited. The "K-Electric" and "KE" word marks, the leaf-feather logo and any product names belong to K-Electric Limited and are used here only for nominative reference (e.g. "K-Electric bill", "KE peak hours"), which is permitted under Pakistan trademark law for descriptive use by independent reviewers and consumer-information sites.

Liability

KE Duplicate Bill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the site or actions taken based on its content.

Specifically — and without limitation — KE Duplicate Bill is not liable for late-payment surcharges, supply disconnections, billing disputes, detection bills, FBR penalties or any loss arising from a delay, outage or inaccuracy in the K-Electric infrastructure our Service forwards your request to. If the K-Electric portal is down, our lookup will be down. The Service does not replace contacting K-Electric directly on 118 for urgent billing or supply issues.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Sindh.
