KE Duplicate Bill exists to make K-Electric billing transparent, accessible and stress-free for every household and business in Karachi.

Our mission

Every month, millions of households in Karachi receive a K-Electric bill they don't fully understand — slabs, FPA, QTA, electricity duty, GST, TV fee. KE Duplicate Bill was built to solve two specific problems: retrieving your duplicate bill instantly and explaining every line on it in plain language.

How we research and fact-check

Every figure published on KE Duplicate Bill — slab rates, FPA, peak-hour timings, surcharges, complaint escalation timelines — is verified against at least two primary sources before publication: a current K-Electric bill, the latest NEPRA notification on nepra.org.pk, the K-Electric Customer Service Manual, or official press releases issued by the company. We re-verify every quarter when NEPRA issues new tariff determinations, and on the first of each month for FPA.

Why an independent resource matters

K-Electric serves more than 3.4 million consumers across Karachi, Hub, Dhabeji and Gharo. The official portal is frequently slow, redirects to invalid URLs, and uses utility-industry language most households were never taught to read. What we do not do

  • We do not request CNICs, OTPs, passwords, or any authentication credential.
  • We do not sell or share retrieved bill data with advertisers, brokers or third parties.
  • We do not represent ourselves as K-Electric staff in any communication, ever.
