Apply at IBC Johar with a possession/sale letter and the builder's NOC. KE will install a sub-meter (NEPRA-sealed) and issue a new 13-digit account number — billing is then direct to your CNIC.
Why does Perfume Chowk trip on heavy rain?+
The Johar-15 feeder runs underground for part of its length and the ring-main unit (RMU) at Perfume Chowk is prone to water ingress. KE typically restores supply within 4 hours after pump-out.
New connection wait time in Safoora Goth?+
For a single-phase residential meter on an existing service pole: 15–20 working days. For a new transformer or pole extension in unserved sub-pockets: 60–90 days including survey.
Can my whole apartment block apply for net metering jointly?+
Yes — KE accepts a single net-metering application against the society's common-area meter, sized up to the sanctioned load. Individual flat-level net metering is not currently supported on shared roofs.
Johar Mor area — is there an exemption from load-shedding?+
Pockets of Block 15–17 sit on a low-loss exempt feeder; older Pehlwan Goth and parts of Saadi Town fall in higher-loss categories and see 4–6 hour scheduled rotation during summer.
